I'm in the bay, trick.
Yesterday I woke up at 7:45 am when Big Box storage delivered the storage unit. I showed them where to put it and filled out the paperwork. Pretty sweet and convenient. The deliver a 5x8 storage unit and you move your shit in there and lock it.. and they pick it up at a time you desire. 69/month and 1st month is free. Also, delivery in the end is 99 bucks when you want them to deliver it to your new place. Not bad though! Overall, its only 60 dollars more than the cheapest storage in the area.. and that money would have been used towards renting a truck or something.
But yeah, if you guys need storage, use it! There's a coupon online for 1st month free.
Jeff came over in the morning to help me move all the heavy furniture. Then Mindy came later and helped me with all the smaller things. All I gota say is, MOVING IS A BITCH, and also, WHERE DID I GET ALL THIS SHIT FROM!?! I had so much stuff that I accumulated. It didn't seem like it because our townhouse is pretty big, and when dispersed, you can't really tell. I filled that storage unit to the brim!
Afterwards I cleaned up the place for the subletters who are moving in this week. Then, me and Angela got Pho T Cali and then headed back to Norcal! After 7 hours of driving, we made it home!!!
It feels good to be home.. but my room doesn't feel like my room. My REAL room was the one in SD. Oh, I'll miss it.
Today I spent just unpacking my car, reorganizing my room here, and sorting out old stuff. I have three trashbags of clothes to give away. No point in keeping it if I never use it, right?
Got to see Kris, Susan, Jon P, and Tony today too! It's good to be home.
